Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Warm up the air fryer to 200C or 400F.
  2. Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, garlic, basil, salt, egg, and milk in a bowl and mix thoroughly, forming a large dome shape.
  3. Create between 12 and 15 meatballs and arrange them in one layer inside a greased air fryer basket.
  4. Cook the meatballs in the air fryer for 8 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they reach 165F internally.
  5. Allow the meatballs to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • TO STORE: Place leftovers in a shallow container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
  • TO FREEZE: Freezing them in airtight containers or freezer-safe bags helps them retain their juicy tenderness for up to 6 months
  • TO REHEAT: Either reheat in a non-stick skillet until hot or back again in the air fryer
  • Make them low carb: Use keto breadcrumbs
  • Gluten-free: Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and add an extra tablespoon of water
