Description

This High Protein Cottage Cheese Pasta Sauce delivers a creamy and protein packed pasta perfect for an easy dinner. It’s a great choice for a weeknight or family dinner with a quick blender pasta sauce method.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese I use 2%
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup pasta water

Instructions

  1. Put every ingredient except the pasta water in your blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until the sauce is smooth and creamy in texture.
  3. Add the pasta water and blend again to mix everything well.
  4. Warm the sauce in a pan over medium-low heat, stirring often to prevent sticking.
  5. Combine the sauce with your cooked pasta, stirring until the noodles are fully covered.
  6. Optionally, mix in cooked vegetables like steamed broccoli before serving.
